Hey! I'm Ahmad Baabod — a CS student at Effat University in Jeddah, concentrating in Artificial Intelligence. My journey didn't start in a classroom though.
It was 2020. Covid-19 had the world on pause, and a bored high schooler stuck at home decided to crack open the internet and ask: how does any of this actually work? That curiosity never left. What started as poking around tutorials became an obsession with understanding systems, writing code, and building things from scratch.
I pick things up fast — not because I rush, but because I genuinely want to understand. That drive has pulled me across JavaScript, C++, C#, backend APIs, and now deep into AI. My GitHub is less a portfolio and more a map of everywhere my curiosity has taken me.
Currently sharpening my focus on AI & software development, and always looking for the next interesting problem to dig into.

A clean, functional todo application — one of the classic starting points for any developer. Built to get a solid grip on DOM manipulation, state, and UI interaction before moving to bigger things.
A simple real-time chat application — my first real dive into client-server communication. Getting messages to flow live between users taught me more about how the web actually works than any tutorial ever could.
A calculator built for use during Code Blue emergencies. When a patient codes and every second counts, medical teams need to know exactly when to administer each drug — this tool takes that calculation off their plate so they can stay focused on saving the patient.
